In response to numerous customer requests, PRS is pleased to officially launch the PRS Tech Center (PTC) to provide factory repairs, set-ups, electronics upgrades, finish touch-ups and other services to the PRS family of players.

The PTC staff are all highly skilled PRS craftsmen with many years of experience working in the Paul Reed Smith factory. Our knowledge encompasses all aspects of guitar construction and repair. No outside contractors are used for PRS factory repairs. Only PRS guitars will be accepted by the PTC. Guitars from other manufacturers cannot be serviced at our facility.

The headstock was broken on this ’91 Custom 24 and someone attempted to repair it. The headstock angle was reset incorrectly so a string tree was added to try to compensate for the improper angle.
When the guitar was sent back to the PRS factory, we removed the headstock, set the correct angle, filled the holes from the string tree, replaced the original tuners and refinished the headstock. We were able to save the original headstock logo as well!
